Timber pergolas, arbours and arches are attractive features which can add a new dimension to your garden. These timber structures can all be used to define separate areas of the garden, adding interest and introducing a dynamic element to the garden.

Pergolas in particular are an excellent way to provide shelter over a seating area and enhance privacy. Climbing plants such as clematis, jasmine or honeysuckle can be planted in integrated planters or in beds around the base of the pergola, arbour or garden arch and trained up the wooden structure to provide lots of stunning summer colour and scent.

At Gilbert-Scape we create quality custom-built wooden structures. As they are bespoke to suit your personal taste and fit the area required, they can be any shape or size - your pergola may be built to cover the length of a path, it may be rectangular or L-shaped. We have also built more unusual structures including bespoke timber compost bins, giving a commonly unsightly garden essential a natural and rustic look with all in-built functionality to make composting as easy as pie.

With all wooden structures we only use quality timbers that have been pressure treated. The finished structure will be oiled for further protection.
